Q. Sales Tax. .

A. Sales tax will only apply to residents of the State of Florida, in which we are registered. Food items are not taxable under Florida Law. No sales taxes will be applied to orders from other USA states or the rest of the world.


Q. How can I pay for my order?

A. We accept the major credit cards. We also accept checks and money orders. Orders paid by check will usually not be processed until the funds have been verified. Q. How much will my shipping charges be?

A. During the order process, you will be given a list of different shipping methods from which you can select your preferred method. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and other US possessions overseas must be shipped via UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. For international orders you must choose INTERNATIONAL AIR MAIL PARCEL POST. International orders transit time may be longer than expected due to your country's customs procedures and regulations. International customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties and charges. All shipping charges may or may not include handling charges. Because it is beyond our control, Cubanfoodmarket.com can not be responsible for lost packages on international orders. We recommend that international orders be insured. Please E-mail us requesting international insurance rates so that we may provide you with the additional costs.


Q. What if I need to return an item?

A. You may return an item in its original condition and packaging or container for a refund or credit within 7 days of receiving your order. A 20% restocking fee will apply on all non food items and 25% on all food items. For obvious and sanitary reasons only canned food items are returnable. Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error. To initiate your return process, please E mail us at: CustomerService@Cubanfoodmarket.com to obtain a "return authorization number". Returns must be accompanied by the packing slip including the authorization number. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. Return the item via UPS or US Postal Service. Please insure the package to protect yourself in case it gets lost or damaged in transit. Send package to "RETURNS". If you chose to cancel an order after it has been shipped, or you refuse delivery, you will be charged for the corresponding shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee.

It will be your responsibility to return the order to us. VHS, DVD's and CD's are NOT returnable unless they are proven defective. Defective VHS, DVD's and CD's will only be exchanged for the same titles. If for some reason VHS. DVD's or CD's items are accepted as "returns" there will be a 35% restocking fee.

Seasonal merchandise , fresh produce, frozen item, party supplies, party goods, customized items are NON REFUNDABLE for any reason.

Memorabilia, school books, old books and all collectibles in general are also non returnable under any circumstance.

Q. What if you don't have all of the items in stock?

A. If an item you ordered is out of stock, it will not be back-ordered. We will deduct from your invoice the items not shipped and then credit your Credit Card accordingly. However the rest of the order will be shipped. For international orders, we will E-mail you the list of out of stock items to confirm the balance of your order.


Q. What is your policy on Privacy?

A. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties, but you can tell us not to by sending an e-mail message to the address below. Also, we may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. Once you place an order with us and/or contact us via E mail we will include you in our E mail list and will periodically E mail you promotions and links to our recipe pages. We will also place in our E mail list the persons which you have referred or linked to our page by using our "Tell a Friend" option. Q.Shipping, pricing, etc.

A.On some items you may see a different price marked on the product from the price that we charge you. This is because some items require extra handling and/or our purchasing costs are higher. We reserve the right to limit quantities on any products, size of order at any given price, be it, at a special or regular price. We reserve the right to modify or change the shipping method selected by the customer if we find it necessary for any reason. We do not ship to Post Office boxes nor personal mail boxes. There are some products, such as colognes and perfumes that we will only ship via GROUND SERVICE , be it UPS or another transportation organization.We reserve the right to modify the shipping charges of $9.99 on orders that exceed 45 pounds in weight. We will notify and obtain approval from the customer before filling such order. We do not ship colognes or perfumes outside the continental USA. Fresh produce and perishables are usually shipped on Mondays and/ or Tuesdays to better preserve freshness. There may be some products we sell that may not be entered to your State or Country without inspection or previous approval by local authorities or they may be totally restricted. It is the responsibility of the person placing and or receiving the order to resolve these issues.
