Our Story
Bringing Cuban tradition to the world — since 1999.
We opened Cuban Food Market in 1999, back when buying groceries online was still an odd idea. The reason was simple. There were Cuban families spread across the country and around the world who couldn't find a brick of Café Pilón, a bottle of mojo, a bag of La Llave, or a decent guayabera anywhere near where they lived — and there was a warehouse in Miami where all of it sat on the shelf.
So we started shipping it. We've been doing it ever since.
Over 3,000 things you can't get at the regular supermarket
Café Pilón and Bustelo. Badia spices and Sazón. Black beans, congrí rice, boniato, malanga, guava paste, croquetas, pastelitos, Materva and Ironbeer, mojo criollo, chorizo, bacalao. The specific brands your family already argues about — not the closest substitute the big grocery chain decided to stock.
And because a Cuban house is more than a pantry: dominoes, flags, guayaberas, coffee makers, books, music, and the small things that make a place feel like home.
The recipes come with the ingredients
Our recipe library, La Cocina de Tía Cary, is the real version of each dish — ropa vieja, lechón asado, croquetas de jamón, tostones, cafecito, pastelitos de guayaba — written the way these dishes are actually cooked in Cuban kitchens, with every ingredient linked so you can put the whole pot in your cart at once.
Miami, and everywhere else
We ship from Miami, Florida — nationwide, and to Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela. Whether you left the island, your parents did, or you just fell in love with the food, the point is the same: you shouldn't have to give up the flavors you grew up with because of where you happen to live now.
