How to use

  1. Black beans, lentils, rice — add 2-3 spoonfuls at the start of cooking.
  2. Picadillo base — start with sofrito, brown ground beef into it.
  3. Fish or chicken poaching liquid — adds instant depth.
  4. Bean soup quick-start: sofrito + canned beans + ham concentrate + water.

Is canned sofrito as good as homemade?
