  • Style: Cuban (croqueta de jamón)
  • Form: Frozen, breaded, ready to fry or bake
  • Origin: Made fresh in Cuban Miami
  • Storage: Keep frozen until cooking

How to cook

Cook from frozen — don't thaw.

  • Deep fry (best texture): 350°F oil, 3–4 minutes until golden brown
  • Oven: 400°F for 15–18 minutes, flip halfway. Spritz with oil for extra crisp.
  • Air fryer: 380°F for 8–10 minutes, shake basket halfway

How to serve

Cuban breakfast: Two croquetas in Cuban bread with butter, served with café con leche.
Party tray: Stack on platter with mustard, parsley, sliced Cuban bread.
Noche Buena (Christmas Eve): Standard appetizer alongside lechon, yuca, and frijoles negros.
Quick snack: 5–6 croquetas straight from the air fryer with a cold Materva.

Why 160 count?

160 is roughly what a family of 4 goes through in 2–3 months as occasional snacks, or what a single Cuban birthday party puts through in one evening. The bulk frozen format means no waste — cook only what you need. Restocking the freezer 4–6x a year beats running out before the abuelos arrive.
