What is amarillo / yellow coloring?
Yellow Coloring ("amarillo") is the powdered color blend that Cuban and Puerto Rican kitchens use to turn white rice into the deep golden-yellow color of arroz amarillo and paella. Made with annatto + corn flour + a touch of yellow food color, it delivers consistent color without the cost of saffron.
