Chiquilin Paella Seasoning with Saffron ).70 oz Pack of 3

$17.59 $24.99

Chiquilín Paella Seasoning with Saffron — 0.70 oz Pack of 3 (15 Sachets Total)

Three boxes of Chiquilín's classic paella seasoning with saffron — imported directly from Alicante, Spain. Each 0.70 oz box contains 5 pre-measured individual sachets, so a Pack of 3 gives you 15 complete paella seasonings. Drop one sachet into the pan right before the rice, no other seasoning needed except salt to taste. The shortcut for excellent home paella without sourcing saffron threads, sweet paprika, and aromatic herbs separately.

Product details

  • Brand: Chiquilín
  • Origin: Imported from Alicante, Spain
  • Size: 0.70 oz box × 3 (2.1 oz / 60 g total)
  • Sachets per box: 5 individual pre-measured packets
  • Total sachets in Pack of 3: 15 — enough for 15 paella servings (or large family-size paellas)
  • Key ingredient: Saffron (azafrán) + paella spice blend

How to use

  1. Make your sofrito as usual (olive oil, onion, garlic, peppers, tomato)
  2. Add your protein (chicken, rabbit, shrimp, mussels) and sauté
  3. Add hot broth or water to the pan
  4. Empty one sachet of Chiquilín paella seasoning into the broth and stir
  5. Add your rice (typically Bomba or Calasparra) and don't stir again — let it cook flat
  6. Adjust salt to taste at the end
  7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving

Why this beats sourcing the spices separately

Real Spanish saffron is expensive ($8–15 per gram retail). A paella for 4 needs a generous pinch. Chiquilín pre-measures the saffron with the rest of the paella spice profile (sweet paprika, oregano, garlic) so you get the proper balance every time at a fraction of the cost of buying saffron threads. For paella home cooks who don't want to invest in a $40 saffron jar to make four paellas a year, this is the right approach.

Family size paella?

Use 2 sachets for a paella for 6–8 people. Use 3 for paellas serving 10–12. Each box covers a single dinner; the Pack of 3 covers 3–5 family-paella nights or 15 individual portions.

What kind of paella works best

This blend is the classic Valencian/Alicante profile — best for chicken paella, rabbit paella, mixed seafood paella, vegetable paella, and paella mixta. For all-seafood paellas (arroz negro / black rice with squid ink), you can still use this; just supplement with a touch of squid ink.
